Instructions for the magnetic adapter ring
1. Attach only on a clean, smooth, and even surface.
2. Press the ring firmly and let it dry for 24 hours for secure adhesion.
3. Align and attach the device centered over the installed adapter ring.
SSD Enclosure Instructions (SSD sold separately)
*Compatible with USB-C smartphones, including iPhone 15 and newer as well as Android devices (full functionality except ProRes operations).
Assembly & Connection
1. Use the included screwdriver to loosen the screws and remove the top cover.
2. Loosen the SSD mounting screws, insert the SSD, and tighten securely.
3. Replace the top cover and tighten all screws firmly.
4. Connect to your host device.
Phone Storage Expansion (Install SSD correctly before use)
Method 1: Access via File Manager
Open the Files app, navigate to local storage, and select the connected SSD folder for file management.
Method 2: Enable ProRes Recording (Not available for Android)
Go to Settings > Camera > Formats and enable Apple ProRes.
* Note: The ProRes feature remains disabled if the SSD is not properly connected.
Method 3: Use Blackmagic Camera App
In Blackmagic Camera, go to Settings > "Save Clips To" and select your SSD folder to save recordings directly to the drive.
* Note: If the SSD cannot be read or written to, format it with the "exFAT" file system. This is usually caused by system incompatibility and does not indicate a defect in the product or accessories.
