Ulanzi Falcam F38 quick release system was developed for photographers and filmmakers to reduce downtime when switching between tripods and stabilizers.

The heart of this system is a basic kit consisting of a base and a plate that form a universal connection.

1. The base has a standard thread of 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16, which is highly versatile and works with various tripod combinations (tripod, slider, monopod, etc.). It features a knob on the side that allows the plate to be locked in place with just one turn.
2. The plate (A and B) is a standard Arca-Swiss quick release plate with dimensions of 38mm*38mm. It is used with a standard 1/4"-20 or 3/8"A -16 camera screw is included for easy connection to a wide range of products. All four sides of the plate feature dovetails, allowing it to be mounted in four directions. Plate B is also compatible with the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip V3.
3. Universal Arca-Swiss Slot: The bottom slot is designed for the Arca 38mm standard, and the base mount can be snapped into the Arca-Swiss card slot. (Not compatible with PD card slot)
4. The system is complemented by a camera strap clip. The clip has two holes that allow you to attach the quick-release plate to the clip.
5. The "Plate B - Arca-Swiss and Peak Design compatible" may wobble slightly when used with the F38 base

I have mounted the Falcam unit on my plate, which came with the Manfrotto 502ah video head. It works well; you can tighten it securely from the bottom. It works well with my Sony a6400 and Sony 70-350mm G lens, which is my largest lens.

Yes and no. The Falcam plate fits well into the U-70 ball head and can be tightened, but the safety device doesn't work. It can slip out if not tightened properly.

Yes, I use it on my Ronin S. It makes removing and attaching the camera so much easier and faster. As long as your camera has the same lens and everything else, you can insert it into the ULANZI, lock it, and go.
