Buying Guide | F38 the best quick release system you must buy in 2022
Solid. Fast. Arca Swiss compatible. It's the best quick release system you can get in 2022.
Since its initial release in 2020, the F38 quick release system has sold over 50,000 units worldwide. Photographers and videographers just love F38. The F38 Quick Release System is an effective and simple solution to making a photographer's camera instantly available and always ready to shoot.
What is the F38 Quick Release System?
In the simplest case, the F38 Quick Release System consists of two metal plates that are held together. One is the top plate (F38 Quick Release Plate) that attaches to the bottom of your camera. The other (F38 Quick Release Base) attaches to a tripod, monopod, ball head, or slider and holds the first plate in place.

How is it used?
Mounted on a tripod head
This is the most common position photographers use the F38 quick release system. The plate screws into the base of a camera quite normally, and the base screws into the tripod head. Then slide the plate into the base with the quick-release fastener and turn the knob on the side to secure the camera.
This means that you only have to attach the camera relatively slowly once and can then attach and detach it from the tripod head much more quickly. You can leave the quick release plate on the camera all the time, whether you're shooting handheld or on a tripod, and simply detach it at the end of the day.
Attached to shoulder strap
This is an excellent spot as most photographers already use a camera bag to carry their gear. The F38 Quick Release Shoulder Strap Clamp, which attaches to a shoulder strap, allows the camera to be stored in an intermediate position - neither in your pocket nor in your hand. Instead, it sits right on the chest and is ready to go. Again, the weight is nicely distributed on a strap meant for carrying.
lanyard assembly
In this case, attach the F38 Quick Release Camera Strap Clamp to your camera lanyard. An interesting design aspect of the F38 is that the standard camera plate (unlike many Arca Swiss plates) is completely square and therefore symmetrical. It slides into the plate in any direction, so you can easily point your camera up, down, or sideways.
